How to Update Your Meta Title & Meta Description
Dmac Media Website are both easy to manage and update. This holds true when it comes to updating you or websites SEO settings. Adding a Page Title & Meta Description for your pages can be done incredibly quickly and will help your webpage rank in organic search results.

First things first however, you are going to need to log into the admin area of your website. If you are unsure about how to do this, you can click here and follow the self help guide.
Step 1 – Visit the Pages Tab
All the Content Pages on your website can be seen by clicking on the pages icon in the bottom navigation. Here you will see a list of your websites content pages which can be edited and amended as you see fit.

Step 2 – Edit Your Pages Settings
Once you’ve identified the page you’d like to update, click on the page settings (pencil) icon.

Step 3 – Add Your Meta Title & Meta Description
Having clicked on the settings icon, your page settings pop up will appear. Here you will notice fields called Meta Title, Meta Keywords & Meta Description. Populate these fields with your chosen content.

When updating your meta data, there are some rules of thumb to follow.
Meta Title – Try to keep your meta title concise (less than 60 characters). Consider the keywords a potential visitor might use when filling out the meta title, in effect you want Google to show your page when a user searches for these. Remember to keep the most important keyword early in your meta title as this will be the Blue Link that appear in search results when a search engine displays this.
Meta Keywords – Enter in two or three key words or phrases that acurately represent the content of the page in question. These are no longer a ranking factor for Google however, it is good practice to include these when updating your meta data.
Meta Description – Like your title, the meta description will also appear in search results. Aim to have a meta description that’s between 150 & 300 characters in length, contains keywords relating to the page title and has a call to action or includes your business unique selling point.
