On April 7th 2020, the Online Trading Voucher Scheme was expanded as part of the Governments National Digital Strategy to assist more small Irish Businesses trade online.

Under the new expanded scheme, the grant is available to any small business even those who have received the online voucher in the past.  Businesses can avail of up to €2500 in grant funding to start trading online.

In the changing face of the Irish Business landscape, this expansion has been welcomed by businesses across the country as they scramble to get their well-deserved slice of the online sales pie.

 

Designed to cut the cost of developing your online trading capacity, the Online Trading Voucher Scheme is targeted at businesses who meet the following criteria:

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 


Limited or no eCommerce presence


10 or less employees


Turnover less than €2m


Applicant businesses must be trading for at least 6 months
(proof required)

Already Availed of the Trading Voucher?

No problem. Under the new scheme previous awardees of the online trading voucher can now avail of a second voucher where upgrades are required. From adding payment processing systems to installing booking engines, the Online Trading Voucher can be used to help companies quickly establish a new revenue driven, online presence.
