Sligo Youth Choral Festival

Sligo Youth Choral Festival is a new venture, exclusively for young people, showcasing the amazing talent of school and youth choirs. Sligo International Choral Festival was in existence for 30 years, and always had a very high standard of entries from school and youth choirs. A few of us from the previous committee feel very passionate about choral music, especially for young people. So we decided to run a youth choral festival this November 2023 in Sligo.

To establish the festival’s online presence with their first customised and updateable website which would showcase an array of competitions and information about the event. This would include the designing of a website theme that works with a provided logo.

Dmac Media designed a new classy website using one of Dmac’s Affordable Themes on the Dmac Media content management system, CMS Platform v4. Our graphic designers began the work by updating the theme to match the festival’s logo. Once a colour scheme was agreed on, the CMS One Theme was updated with the new look, new custom images, banners and all relevant information. We have also added an Article Manager plugin to allow sharing the news about the festival in the future. The new website showcases the competitions, the rules, adjudicators and a sign up form. A number of calls to action was added to the pages to ensure that potential users can contact the organisers easily from any page on the website as well as find all the necessary information.
