Irish Surfing

Irish Surfing is the national governing body for the sport of surfing in Ireland and they are active in club development, instructor training, surf school regulation, competitive surfing, promotion of safety and the protection of our surfing environment.

Irish Surfing came to Dmac Media with an old site that was difficult to update and visually outdated. They had recently created a new logo and brand guidelines which would lead the way for the new design. Apart from a completer revamp to reflect the vibrant and busy world of surfing in Ireland, the new site also needed to pull in a 3rd party membership directory to display all surf clubs, schools and events. It would also need to allow an easily navigated pathway for potential membership.

Dmac Media worked closely with the enthusiastic team at Irish Surfing to produce a bright, modern website design. The site was built on a Dmac CMS platform with some nice custom modules and an article manager. Dmac Media worked with GO Membership to display the directory on relevant pages allowing visitors to join online. The result is an easily accessible site that reflects Irish Surfing at its best.
