Irish International Freight Association

Irish International Freight Association (IIFA) is the longest serving Representative Body and official voice of Freight Forwarding in Ireland. Established in 1962, it has 120 members nationwide who between them employ more than 3,000 people and handle more than 90% of Ireland’s €148 billion international merchandise trade. Member companies range from homegrown Irish businesses in operation for over 40 years, to leading Multinationals.

The client wished to have a revamp of the existing IIFA platform. The members directory would be searchable and easy to use. The site would showcase a range of IIFA Education options and past graduates. The industry news and mentions in the media would also be displayed.

Dmac Media have designed a Dmac CMS v3 platform with new members directory to the specifications required by the client and in a new, clean design. The members can be searched by a form or available filters. An article manager was added where admins can post news items and blog posts for the general public. A number of content pages were built including landing pages with a breakdown of education options as well as organisation information - both were further split into subpages. Thanks to a custom content layout module and a range of carefully selected stock images, the site looks good, and works well across all devices and meets all the clients needs.
