Border Plant Sales are a family owned company in Smallwood, Cheshire. The Lowe family started the business in 2004 and have expanded year on year to establish a thriving agricultural machinery business. This vibrant company supplies a huge range of spare parts and consumables for nearly all makes and models of tractors and farm equipment. The new Border Agriparts ecommerce site makes all of this accessible to existing and new customers seeking particular parts.

Border Plant required a high end ecommerce platform that would integrate directly with their parts suppliers. This would allow them to manage a greater volume of product and increase sales. Their wish list included: - A Customer Log In, with Order History - Epos & Product Data Integrations (Third Party Feed) - Article Manager - Payment Integration - Mailchimp Integration - Contextual & Autosuggest Search - Vat With Vies Exclusion System - Weight Matrix For Delivery Costs

Starting with a bright clean update on their current logo design we worked with Border Agri Parts to build their online brand and translate this to a fresh website theme. Dmac Media worked hard on their advanced search features and filters to make searching their 16k products an easy experience for the busy farmer looking for their spare parts. A wide range of consumables (some of them oversized and quite heavy) required the inclusion of a weight-based delivery matrix. In addition, we also developed a VIES VAT Number lookup so that users could reduce their VAT cost to zero at the checkout. This was all delivered with the standard Dmac checkout, and the full client wish list to give the site a user-friendly checkout that is already delivering improved sales and customer service.
